I'm truly blessed to live and work in Montana, where my great grandparents settled into long lives of ranching and farming extending through 5-generations to my own grandchildren. I've spent just enough time in the field and on a tractor to decide I'm better suited telling those stories than making them! After an extensive journalism and broadcast career in Western Washington, my family returned to Montana in 2007, calling Missoula and the Bitterroot Valley home. When I'm not behind a microphone, or on either side of a camera, you'll find me out exploring the backroads of the Northern Rockies on nice days, or spending the stormy ones at home with my wife watching old movies, playing xBox, or enjoying my extensive music collection. And yes, I'm a self-taught connoisseur of fine ice cream.
