Check It Out: Missoula’s Katharine Berkoff Visits White House
You know an athlete accomplished something when he/she has the privilege of visiting the White House. Typically, it's reserved for players and teams who've won Super Bowls, World Series, Stanley Cups, Larry O'Briens and athletes who represented the United States at the highest level.
Cue Katharine Berkoff.
From Missoula to Raleigh, North Carolina to Paris, France to Washington D.C. is quite the journey for the Hellgate High graduate. Berkoff and her teammates got to tour the White House, snap a selfie with President Joe Biden and get some presidential readings in as well. To which one of her USA teammates, Kennedy Noble, replied "thank god you could use some reading."
I'm still attempting to contact Katharine to get her on The Daily Drive. I've messaged her a few times on Instagram, so I hope she doesn't see this guy slide into her DMs and go "Ew, what the heck is this radio dork sliding into my DMs for?" It's for an interview, Katharine... for an interview!

By the way, the jackets that Berkoff and her team are wearing are crisp. Where can I get one of those? Or do I have to be an Olympic medalist? Because if that's the case it probably won't happen. Even if I train assiduously I don't think it's possible to reach that status, so maybe I'll ask Katharine to steal one of her teammates' jackets for me.
