Three Montana Grizzlies Earn Stats Perform Preseason All-America Honors
The 2026 Stats Perform Preseason All-America Team is here, and three Montana Grizzlies were named to the All-American teams.
Running Back - Eli Gillman
Just another feather in the cap for Eli Gillman. Gillman was named an All-American each of the past two seasons and will break the all-time rushing record at the University of Montana if he stays healthy. The Minnesota native is at 3,677 career yards and sits only 393 yards away from Yohance Humphrey, the all-time leader.
Linebacker - Peyton Wing
Wing was named a 2nd team All-American by Sports Illustrated/FCS Football Central a year ago in his first season with Montana. This year, Stats Perform gave him first-team honors heading into the season.
The former Portland State Viking played in 15 games, racked up 78 tackles, forced 1 fumble, and snagged 4 interceptions in his inaugural campaign.

Quarterback - Keali'i Ah Yat
The Griz legacy player enters his second season as the full-time starter. Ah Yat was named a Walter Payton Award finalist and a Stats Perform First Team All-American last year, but earned second-team honors this year.
Montana State had 8 selections on Stats Perform's All-America Team, including Missoula native Adam Jones, quarterback Justin Lamson, and the dynamic Dowler brothers.
