Missoula has been lucky to have such a great food truck scene these days. I am still convinced that we need to have a "food truck court" somewhere in Missoula. Bozeman has one, why don't we?

One of Missoula's popular food trucks is getting a brick-and-mortar location in an iconic spot. M-80 Chicken has announced on their Instagram page that they are going to be moving into The Shack location at 222 West Main in Missoula.

They will be opening in the early summer and they are also hiring all positions.

The M-80 Chicken truck has been a fixture at the Kettlehouse Myrtle Street Taproom at 602 Myrtle Street, for a few years now, serving up some amazing chicken sandwiches. If you want to add a little kick to your chicken sandwiches, M-80 is right up your alley.

For a lot of Missoulians, it was a sad day when The Shack closed their doors for good back in 2022. I personally spent a lot of time at The Shack. Not only at its current location, but when it was located on Front Street.

You can say I grew up at The Shack. For a short period of time in the 1970's my father was one of the owners. I can still remember the "all-you-can-eat spaghetti" nights. I followed the restaurant when it moved to its W. Main location. It was one of my favorite places for breakfast.
