American Idol's Mandisa Tribute:

During last Sunday's episode of American Idol, host Ryan Seacrest recognized Mandisa's death and revealed the show planned to honor her this Sunday (April 29). "She was an inspiration on the show and beyond," he said.

Several notable singers from the Christian music world have commented on her death. Frequent collaborator TobyMac shared several photos and a heartfelt statement on Instagram.

After her death, several people referred to these same struggles. Her social media team announced her death and asked for prayers as they focused on all that was positive, saying she was a "voice of encouragement and truth to people facing life’s challenges all around the world."
