Can I help it if my mom whispered down from Heaven and said, "Make sure you say beloved, honey."

Mom loved her son and I think she had a bit of a weakness for BINGO, too. I will try to make her proud, as I get my first opportunity since 2019 to have a great time with you at the Soroptimist BINGO booth this coming week at the Western Montana Fair. I get to take a turn Wednesday night, August 10, from 6:00 - 10:00 p.m. You'll be supporting a wonderful organization and hopefully taking home a few bucks, too.

For those not familiar with Soroptimists, they are a network of volunteer professional women around the world, including a chapter here is Missoula. Their mission is to "improve the lives of women and girls. The name, Soroptimist, means "best for women."  Soroptimists are women at their best, working to help other women to be their best."

Awards and scholarships. Fundraisers and events. These are cornerstones of how the women of Soroptimist strive to improve the lives of others.Soroptimist International of Missoula would love to visit with you sometime about membership, and the opportunity you have to directly impact the women in our community, and what it means to "focus on improving the lives of women and girls by supporting programs that educate women and girls in order to improve their economic status, encourage their personal growth, and empower them to make positive changes in their lives."

The Soroptimist BINGO booth is basically centered between a lot of the food vendors and the main entrance to the grandstands, in the southwest area of the fairgrounds. Trust me, you'll find us! Each game's winner takes half of the pot, so the more players we have at each game, the more there is to win. They'll be playing every day of the fair, but I'm hoping your first choice is Wednesday.

Thanks in advance for coming. Would sure love to see you there.
