Missoula Mayor Andrea Davis held a press conference in her office on Thursday.

The project will take place from July 21 through August 7.

They will have to close down the Scott Street Bridge and the intersection for the majority of that work.

Ward 3 Missoula City Councilor Dan Carlino appeared on KGVO's Talk Back show for the first time.

Each program has a particular theme, but general questions about city government and other topics can also be discussed.

Mayor Davis said the city will not simply close the Johnson Street Shelter without attempting to provide other options.

One project will be starting soon near the Post Office.

The temporary shelter costs $1.8 million annually to run.

They hope Missoulians will use more sustainable transportation, not just driving alone in a car.

Davis was proud to have been singled out for the work she and her administration have done.
