5-0 is a great start for any football team. The last time the Griz started 5-0 was in 2009, when they went undefeated to take the Big Sky Championship and made it all the way to the FCS Championship game, eventually losing to Villanova. Now Coach Bobby Hauck and his squad of firebrands have their sights set on taking down their division rivals west of the border, the Idaho Vandals.

Like the Griz, Idaho is coming off their bye week. Unlike the Griz, they've suffered two losses so far this season to Washington State and Indiana. However the Vandals aren't to be taken lightly; they're riding a three game winning streak into Washington Grizzly Stadium on Saturday.

Idaho freshman quarterback Gevani McCoy has already passed for over 1,00 yards and thrown 10 touchdowns this season, along with an NFL-esque 72.8% completion percentage. Their defense is currently ranked 4th in the Big Sky, allowing just over 23 points per game.

The Griz offense, led by QB Lucas Johnson and RB Elijah Elliott, is averaging 40 points a game. Montana's defense leads the pack in touchdowns allowed, points allowed, and an impressive 20 sacks, with defensive end Patrick O'Connell contributing 7 of his own to lead the Big Sky Conference,
