This is the Top Halloween Movie picked by kids in Montana. Really?  With so many ways kids have to watch Halloween-related fare, we can count on Dish Network to lend us a satellite eye view of what our children are watching. It depends on which kids in what state you are talking about. Each of our 50 has a different spooky favorite for Halloween.

Dish found out that the 12 most asked-for movies across the country were Scooby Doo, Hocus Pocus, Beetle Juice, Coraline, The Addams Family, Gremlins, Coco, Ghostbusters, The Witches, E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial, Halloweentown, and, Hotel Transylvania.

OK, what about Montana Kids?

Surprisingly, there are a few states that stood out from the pack as the sole lover of certain films. This includes Montana with The Addams Family. Lovin’ that theme evidently, and to support that fact The Missoula Community Theater is performing The Addams Family 2022 Musical Comedy October 20^th-30^th.  Also fitting into the sole film category is North Dakota, which loves Gremlins, Oregon with Halloweentown, Wyoming with Hotel Transylvania.

The most popular Halloween movie, at least according to this data, is Scooby-Doo, with 13 states digging the live-action feature with Sarah Michelle Gellar and Freddie Prinze Jr.  We now know that kids in the states of Alabama, Alaska, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Mississippi, Nebraska, North Carolina, Louisiana, Michigan, Ohio, South Carolina, Minnesota, have no taste whatsoever.
