The Griz football season is finally here! Head coach Bobby Hauck and his squad are ready to rumble through the Big Sky Conference in 2022. Predictions have the Griz finishing the season as #2 in the country. Their full home schedule for this season is further down...

The Griz have logged consecutive 10-win seasons in 2020 and 2021. UM Athletic Director Eric Taber is just as positive about our chances as anyone else:

“Montana just seems to be going from strength to strength this preseason,” he said. “Obviously our defense is just loaded. We've got guys like Buck Buchanan finalists Justin Ford and Patrick O'Connell coming back. The offense has some stars coming back with guys like (running backs) Marcus Knight and Nick Ostmo."

The Griz began their 2021 season with a stunning upset of Washington and finished with a record of 10-3.

First up in this year's campaign is the home opener as we host Northwestern State. All Griz fans are encouraged to wear as much maroon as possible.
